The Output window () is a multi-tabbed window that displays varied information generated by GenBeans. For example, most data generated during sequence analysis are redirected to the Output window.

Opening the Output window

The Output window can be accessed via the menu Window > Output and the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-3. This is normally not necessary because the Ouput window is automatically activated when data are send. Choose the tab and move the cursor to the area of interest.

Printing and saving tab content

Printing and saving are directly accessible in the side toolbar (); clearing the actual tab content is achieved using the Erase action in the side toolbar or with the Clear action in the context menu ().
